Today is Lori's Memorial service. I still can't believe this is all happening, it seems like a nightmare. Lori was the president of our DSACT for several years she lead the way in bringing us so many different programs and she worked tireless for our Learning Program. She was my first parent contact after the birth of Rustin. We found DSACT online after Rustin's diagnosis and found they were having a fundraiser -Skydiving so we went out and Lori saw there were new faces and introduced herself. The following week she came to my work to bring a parent packet and talk. She always had a friendly, thoughtful, loving smile and worked tirelessly for our children. We lost Lori last week after having heart surgery and she never came back to us. Our hearts n prayers go to her husband Adam and their three small children Emma, Hannah(DS), and Sarah. RIP sweet Lori!
